Here are some very simple instructions for you to follow when giving yourself an enema

Enema Procedure
  1. Begin by warming clean, distilled or bottled water. It should be warm on your wrist like a baby's bottle.
  2. Rinse the enema bag out with hot, hot water. Only use an enema bag that belongs to you. Don't share even with members of your own family
  3. Fill the bag half full with the clean, warm water.
  4. Open the clamp and allow the water to run through the tube to clear the air.
  5. Lubricate the anus and the tube with a nice herbal salve or some KY jelly
  6. Insert the tube slowly and gently, lying on your back with enema bag hanging from a hook on the wall
  7. Open the clamp and allow the water to flow for about 3-5 seconds
  8. Close the clamp and allow time to rest and breathe deeply
  9. STAY COMFORTABLE
  10. Allow the water to flow again for another 3-5 seconds and STOP
  11. Empty at the toilet whenever the urge comes. DO NOT HOLD IT!
  12. Let it go when you feel the need!
  13. Repeat as needed until you feel well
  14. DO NOT OVERDO IT!
  15. NEVER LET 24 HOURS GO BY WITHOUT A BOWEL MOVEMENT
